Polar Animals - Hibernation and Migration

The past two weeks in preschool have been a whirl of icy adventures and cozy critters! We jumped into the world of polar animals, reading books, making snowy owl paintings, and even creating our own icy sensory tubs with miniature penguins, seals, polar bears, and more polar animals.

We also explored the mysteries of hibernation and migration. We learned which animals snuggle up for winter naps and which take long journeys south. Our imaginations soared with "picture starter art," where googly eyes became amazing creatures on blank paper! We even painted cozy bear caves and celebrated Groundhog Day with a shadow art adventure outside (spoiler alert: Punxatawny Phil didn't see his shadow!). ☀️

We learned a catchy hibernation song, welcomed our first two special "VIPS" (Very Important Preschoolers) who are graduating this year, and of course, celebrated some birthdays!
