Christmas Around the World 🎄🌎

 A World of Christmas Traditions!

This week at preschool, we embarked on a magical journey around the world to learn about different Christmas traditions! We discovered the fascinating origins of some of our favorite holiday customs: Gingerbread Houses, Christmas Cards, Stockings, Christmas Trees, and Poinsettias.

We also learned how to say "Merry Christmas" in different languages:

German: Frohe Weihnachten

Spanish: Feliz Navidad

French: Joyeux Noël

And to top it all off, we received fascinating videos of friends from England, Germany, and Japan, sharing their unique Christmas traditions! It was amazing to see how people celebrate this special holiday in different corners of the world.

This week, we truly learned that Christmas is a global celebration filled with joy, love, and diverse traditions. We're so grateful to have had the opportunity to learn about different cultures and how they make this season special. We can't wait to share our own Christmas traditions with our families and friends!
